So, sometimes when I’m working on one story, characters from another story insist on talking in my head.

At first, I wrote a short story that picked up from events in Bijou‘s Cure: Zeke and carried on to a happy ending for Kanzi and Mponyaji. I thought it was done. However, if you’ve read Bijou and story, you know how dramatic and insistent Kanzi can be. A short story wasn’t good enough for her!

I went back to the drawing board and outlined a fuller story for Bijou‘s parents. That’s what I’ve been working on the last few days.
