Shujaa is Bijou‘s aunt, and Mponyaji‘s sister.
Twenty years ago, after the Obayifo destroyed Bijou‘s family, Shujaa brought her niece and brother to the Oasis of Little Birds – Zerzura where she rules as Queen of the Amazons.
She taught Bijou to fight.
